Do you offer Free or Paid Internships for Divemaster and Instructor Training??

Although we do offer free internships to certain individuals, it is not something we take lightly, and there is no such thing as free. For long term divers of TOCo, as well as individuals who do not have the opportunity to do the training otherwise, we have been able to in the past create plans for people where both Thai Ocean and the student training benefit from the their training.

How long does a zero to hero program take?

Typically people can complete training up to Scuba Diving Instructor in as little as 6 months. At Thai Ocean Academy we advocate for training to take up to 1 year, to ensure a thorough understanding of your role and responsibilities in the diving industry are well understood.

Is RAID Recognized by other dive agencies?

YES! RAID and all other major dive agencies follow RSTC standards, which keep us all in line with each other. So when you want to do your next level of training, your RAID certification will be sufficient to meet requirments.
