You will cover RAID’s administrative procedures, high-performance teaching standards, and digital platform integration, culminating in your RAID Instructor certification upon successful completion.Â

Logistics
Pre-Course Preparation
Prior to Day 1, candidates complete all assigned online theory modules, standards quizzes, and administrative paperwork on the RAID digital portal.
Day 1 — Classroom & RAID System Orientation: Focus on RAID standards, digital platform mastery, and academic teaching presentations.
Day 2 — Theory, Pool Evaluation & Simulated Certifications: Classroom methodology followed by pool sessions covering demonstration-quality skills, simulated student teaching scenarios, and final digital certification sign-off.
Prerequisites
RAID instructors are required to have the NITROX and DEEP 40 instructor ratings.
Should you not hold them we offer them as add-ons
Safety & First Aid Qualifications:
Current First Aid / CPR / BLS Certification.
Current Oxygen Provider / Emergency O2 Instructor certification.

Can I get my PADI with you?
At Thai Ocean Academy we focus on training the RAID way. We find that RAID is better aligned with our pace and high standards of diver training. The certifications issued are recognized world wide, and are accepted by all other major agencies
Will I have to re-do my entire Instructor Development Course (IDC) or take an IE?
No. Because you are already a certified instructor in good standing, you do not need to repeat basic instructional methodology or take another formal Instructor Examination (IE). The RAID Crossover focuses specifically on orienting you to RAID standards, mastering our digital learning portal, and demonstrating RAID’s signature high-performance, neutrally-buoyant teaching techniques.
