RAID Nitrox Diver Training in Pattaya
Ready to stay deeper for longer? Nitrox is almost an essential certification for any serious diver. It allows us to reduce the nitrogen in the gas we are breathing, to increase our NDL's at various depths.
Nitrox training can be complete with or without diving, as it is mostly a theory based course. With that being said Thai Ocean Academy always recommends to combine with a day of diving to maximize your experience and training.
Classroom only training will involve some online work to complete prior to the classroom day, then your instructor will take you through the various aspects of safe dive planning using Nitrox.
IF you wish to add a day of diving, we do the above, but after analyzing and marking our tanks, we strap in and go for a dive to compare our various bottom times when compared to diving on normal air.
Each day we will start at our shop at 8:00am – Location
If you plan on diving, you will need to bring your swimsuit, a towel, some suncreen (reef safe please) as well as a positive and engaged attitude! When we are on the boat, there is snacks, fruits, lunch and drinks all on board for you.
During your training day, your instructor will guide you on 2 dives, typically one is with a Nitrox tank, and one is on normal air. The theory and practical skills will be completed on the 2 dives.
At the end of the day, please plan for some administrative time at the dive center to finalize certification.
